. Graha Chikitsa: This Ayurvedic branch deals with mental health. It helps in comprehending, preventing and treating mental disorders including phobias, obesity and anorexia. The branch also deals with substance-abuse and psychosomatic disorders.

. Salakya Chikitsa: This branch of ayurveda corresponds to the E.N.T. specialty of modern medicine. This branch believes that sensory ailments can be treated and prevented by going to the root of the disease. The branch strongly believes that sensory disorders have their root cause in nervous system disorders.

. Salya Chikitsa: This is the surgical branch of ayurveda. The principles are imbibed in a book detailing the various surgical procedures along with the instruments to be used.


Body Care programmes:


Rejuvenation Therapy: This treatment is called Rasayana Chikilsa. It involves body massage with hand and foot by two masseurs using medicated oil and cream, internal rejuvenative medicines with medicated stem bath. The therapy normally ranges from 90 minutes -- 2 hours per day for a fortnight. It also tones up skin strengthening body functions and systems for ideal health and longevity

Body Purification Therapy: Shodhan Chikilsa is a process of cleansing and purifying the body. The therapy aims at achieving proper balance in the body and at the same time rejuvenates the mind. The therapy advocates body massages with a system of the panchkarma and swethakarma treatment for 15 days. The therapy also includes snehapanam, nasyam, virechanam, njavarakizhi, karnapooranam, tharpanam, sirovasthi, steam bath. At the end, the 'patient' is prescribed herbal drinks and internal herbal medicines.
